So being on a mixtape in NYC has always been a very marketable way of being heard. Many of todays known artists have gotten their big breaks through mixtape marketing, and every month BUE puts out a mixtape cd, of some of the illest unsigned talent from around the country. We started the first unsigned hype volume at the beginning of the year and have received good responses from rappers, rnb artists and many urban music fans. Also for artists that are signed, if you could use more exposure, BUE also releases a signed hype mixtape of the artists that do get love in their own city but would like to expand their borders and receive more fans and possibly advance their careers. Spoken word artists and poets whether you recite alcapella or over music, you are also encouraged to submit a cd of your clearly recorded works for cameo appearances on mixtapes,only three minutes max please. Unsigned and signed artists can submit songs up to five minutes long. BUE has tracks for rap, rnb, and poetry, and can be a great asset for any artist in need of music services, our beat archives are massive and our producers are the best.
Volume four has hit the streets, with fourteen hot tracks by unsigned artists from across the country. That's right fourteen hot tracks, we had to ungrade this cd because It first had only ten hot rap tracks but due to the constant flow of new emcees that want to get exposure we added four more joints thats pure fire. If you would like to be featured on a signed or unsigned hype mixtape, submit your song(s) to the address below, along with a submission fee for each song you are submitting. As long as your song(s) are clearly recorded, decent in theme and skill, you will be featured along with other signed or unsigned artists on the latest mixtapes to hit the streets. You must submit a bio and/or photo with your cd and on your bio, on the bottom or back you must write that you have given Beats Universe Entertainment permission to use your song and if it's more than one artist on a song you must get all artists to sign the bio being submitted.
Check it poets, I'm still seeking some ill poets that want to have their poetry featured in break parts between songs on future mixtapes. Don't be scared, just copyright your poems and submit them for exposure. We are really seeking poets that can put their flow to a nice track and still keep it poetry.
Example of how your material should be submitted: I Give Beats Universe Entertainment permission to use my song titled _________ on a mixtape cd, then sign your name.
You will also receive by mail, the actual cd that will be hitting the streets of NYC.
The fee for unsigned artists is only twenty dollars per song. Maximum three songs allowed per mixtape.
The fee for signed artists is thirty dollars per song. Maximum three songs per mixtape.
Spoken Word and poetry only fifteen dollars per submission. Maximum two poems per mixtape.
